Dermatitis is a major problem for hairdressers. According to the health and safety executive “up to 70% of hairdressers suffer some form of skin damage” and are 17 times more likely to develop a form of dermatitis. This is due to prolonged exposure to chemicals and contact with water. In fact, the problem is so serious, that the Health and Safety Council have launched an awareness campaign (Bad Hand Day) and issued new industry guidelines. Many hairdressing training colleges are using Natraderm as part of their dermatitis management procedures and the word is now spreading to hairdressing salons across the country. We recommend that hairdressers reduce their exposure to chemicals and detergents and purchase our 500ml Natraderm Lotion with dispenser cap for use in their salons. We also offer a 500ml natural liquid soap that does not contain any detergents or chemicals. Please contact us or your wholesaler for prices.
