Unfortunately, in some cases the use of hydrocortisone cream or steroid treatments may be needed. However, good results can be achieved by adopting a good management approach to the particular skin problem involving the use of a very good emollient such as the Natraderm Non-greasy Skin Treatment Lotion and avoiding irritant substances such as detergents and perfumes. We strongly recommend that you discuss the problem with your doctor and try to identify any triggers. While hydrocortisone might be the only solution in some cases, in many others great results can be obtained without it.
