Eczema Dermatitis and Infant Skin Rash Advice
Written by Admin
Tuesday, 10 October 2006

Eczema, dermatitis, psoriasis, common skin rash conditions and their possible causes.

Dermatitis and eczema are often considered synonymous and psoriasis is often treated in the same way. They are not infectious. However, such problems may also have internal causes; there may be a family history of hay fever, asthma, or atopic eczema. Predisposing causes are nervous strain and allergic tendencies which further complicates the different treatments available.

Dermatitis (or eczema) is an inflammation of the skin where swelling, redness, itching or a burning sensation is present. Sometimes the first inflammation is felt, rather than seen, as it is immediately beneath the skin's surface . Reddened spots, scales, crusts or blisters may be present, either alone or in combination. It may take a mild form, or be more severe. It is particularly common in infants under three years of age.

Review: Baby Eczema Help
Written by Admin

This is a truly excellent product. I bought it to use on my 5 month old baby boy (now 8 months) who was being treated for eczema by my GP with (product name removed - contact us) cream. It was having minimal effect and very heavy on the skin. I purchased the Natraderm in Framar Health Belfast on the advice of a sales assistant who had used (product name removed) for almost 20 years with little if no effect.

I just wish it was more readily available in shops here. Consultant dermatologists recommend that i cream the baby 10 times a day. A bottle of 125 mls only serves to last 5 days. I find the bottle rather small. Is it possible for you to produce a larger bottle that would also be more cost effective?

Many thanks Jackie H , Antrim, northern Ireland
